Reprocess whenever the timestamp received from the SlapOS master is different from the last locally stored timestamp, and not just when it is more recent. This makes bang resilient to time changes on the side of the master.
In particular, in the perspective of supporting changing master, it makes bang resilient to the new master having a different time than the old one.
